project scope

In Riga – a new space for young people SHED co-living Riga.

The essential element of co-living is the community and the modern living and public space environment. It is the architects’ vision of public spaces (rest, dining, work areas) that was implemented by ERGOLAIN professionals in the new co-living project SHED Co-living Riga.

In a brightly colored interior, recreation and work areas have been created for the settlers, meeting the needs of a young, energetic and socializing person. ERGOLAIN experts took care of furniture and interior solutions in a way that satisfied all the architects’ ideas: innovative, urban design of furniture and interior details prevails, bright materials are combined with natural wood, fabrics in calm tones.

Urban solutions – building materials – were also used for the production of furniture and the implementation of interior solutions. We made a glass block pedestal for plants, used polycarbonate elements for wall decor, into which lighting was installed, wooden frame structures were adapted to separate functional areas, and commercial boxes were transformed into seating and cabinet furniture. We used rope weaving solutions to make the spaces unique, and we matched carpets to different spaces.

The implemented project also includes a lot of non-standard furniture solutions, which were provided by ERGOLAIN. Soft benches and poufs of different colors are designed to enjoy relaxation and invite informal communication, wooden houses with a combination of plastic are designed to separate functional areas. The design of commercial boxes, which have been transformed into modern furniture, is also recognizable.

Different moods are created in different spaces, bright details and colorful fabrics attract the eye. In the work area, the calm interior is enlivened by the bright yellow color of the legs of the I-TON work tables.
