Automated technologies ensure greater precision and speed, allowing more effective responses to market changes. This helps optimise energy consumption and resource allocation, contributing to sustainable production. By implementing new technologies, the company introduces energy-saving solutions that reduce energy costs and improve energy efficiency.
UAB “Ergolain Baldai” is implementing a project aimed at conducting a digital audit of the company and providing recommendations, by acquiring SME vouchers for digitalisation and technology services.
The total value of the project is EUR 8,056.20, of which EUR 6,000.00 has been allocated from the European Regional Development Fund.
The project started on 27 November 2024 and will be implemented until 27 November 2025.

UAB “Ergolain Baldai” has specialised for more than 20 years in the production of ergonomic furniture and in the management and implementation of complex projects. The company believes in bold interior solutions and functional design and therefore constantly improves its knowledge, production processes and implements innovations.
With the aim of increasing the company’s productivity and profitability, UAB “Ergolain Baldai” is implementing the project “Development and Sales Digitalisation Project of UAB ERGOLAIN BALDAI by Implementing an E-Store.” The project is implemented under the measure “E-commerce Model COVID-19” partially financed from the European Regional Development Fund.
An amount of EUR 49,725.00 from the European Regional Development Fund has been allocated for the implementation of the project. The total value of the project is EUR 66,300.00. Within the project an e-commerce solution will be created and introduced for the company’s manufactured products – a customer self-service solution on an electronic trading platform for products and services, including an order management solution for production and services and the integration of the company’s resource management system into the electronic trading platform.
The project started on 18 February 2022 and will be implemented until 17 February 2023.
The introduction of the customer self-service e-commerce system will allow the company to increase productivity and profitability. The e-commerce system will also be integrated with the company’s resource management system, which will automate not only order administration but also resource management processes for these orders. The integration of the e-commerce system with the resource management system aims not only to attract the attention of existing and new customers, thereby increasing order volumes, but also to address the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic by enabling remote work and safe shopping. At the same time, it meets the company’s need to invest in process digitalisation, reducing employees’ administrative work and time costs. The automation of order administration will make it possible to use human resources in other activities.
After the project is implemented, the e-commerce system will cover not only conventional business operations but also business models possible only in the virtual environment. Individuals and companies will establish and maintain business relationships electronically at both international and national levels. This online tool will connect and increase the efficiency of UAB “Ergolain Baldai’s” business processes. The results of the project will be used for the company’s further development, sales growth, finding new customers and partners, preserving existing jobs, increasing labour productivity, and investing in the digitalisation of workplaces.

Project objective – replacement of production equipment and installation of additional equipment in order to reduce the negative environmental impact created by the company. The objective is achieved by renewing the processes of metal parts manufacturing and painting.
By modernising the production process, the company will not only significantly improve environmental indicators and the ecological characteristics of its products throughout the entire life cycle, but also ensure sustainable and balanced growth in sales and operational efficiency. EU support for the project enables the company to purchase equipment that will allow the manufacture of updated products applying eco-design principles. The acquired equipment will reduce the amount of raw materials used in production, energy consumption, the quantity of hazardous substances used in manufacturing, waste management costs and environmental pollution. It is expected that the implementation of these technological innovations will increase the company’s productivity and competitiveness as well as improve its image.

UAB “Ergolain Baldai”
UAB “Ergolain Baldai” was established in 2001 and has been operating in the market for 19 years. The company specialises in the production of ergonomic furniture and in the management and implementation of complex projects. In order to increase the company’s productivity, it is implementing the project “Creation and Implementation of Furniture Design Solutions at UAB Ergolain Baldai.” The project is implemented under the measure “Design LT,” partially financed by the European Regional Development Fund. Up to EUR 30,000.00 has been allocated for eligible expenditure of the project. The total value of the project is EUR 60,000.00. During the project three design solutions will be created, consisting of seven designs, namely the “Bastion” soft-furniture system, the “ENDY-4” office-furniture system and the “TalkTalk” single acoustic booth. The project started on 20 August 2020 and will be implemented until 20 February 2022.
The implementation of the project will create conditions for continuous improvement of the company’s performance results. The creation and implementation of furniture design solutions will allow the company to become more competitive and increase labour productivity and profitability. Attractive furniture products for consumers will lead to growing sales volumes and a better market position. The aim of these designs is not only to attract the attention of existing and new customers but also to address environmental and social issues and to comply with universal-design principles.
The results obtained after the project implementation will be used for further company development, sales growth, search for new customers and partners, increasing labour productivity, investing in production equipment and creating and manufacturing new products.
UAB “Ergolain Projektai” specialises in furniture manufacturing and in the management and implementation of complex interior projects. In order to increase the company’s revenue and profitability, it is implementing the project “UAB Ergolain Projektai Profitability Increase Project through the Implementation of an E-Commerce Model.” The project is implemented under the measure “E-Commerce Model COVID-19,” partially financed by the European Regional Development Fund. EUR 49,725.00 has been allocated from the European Regional Development Fund for the implementation of the project. The total value of the project is EUR 66,300.00. Within the project a customer self-service solution will be created on the e-commerce platform and integrated with the company’s resource-management system. The project started on 9 February 2022 and will be implemented until 9 February 2023.
The implementation of the project will digitalise UAB “Ergolain Projektai’s” sales transactions for individual products and large projects. The e-commerce system will cover not only conventional business operations but also business models possible only in the virtual environment – this is especially important in the management and implementation of complex interior projects. Individuals and companies will be able to establish and maintain business relationships electronically at international and national level: buy, sell, order, consult and perform other agreements and business collaborations. This online tool will connect and increase the efficiency of the company’s business processes.
After the project is implemented, the increased potential, productivity and sales volumes will raise the company’s revenue and profitability – a prerequisite for sustainable and long-term development and growth. With the help of the project, long-term company awareness and added value will be formed, which will have a direct impact on the company’s competitiveness and its establishment in the Lithuanian market for many years after project completion.
In order to contribute to climate change mitigation and promote environmental protection, the company has consciously chosen to use environmentally friendly technologies within this project and to install a solar power plant. Renewable energy sources, their efficient use and development reduce dependence on imported fossil fuels, increase the reliability of energy supply and lower greenhouse-gas emissions into the atmosphere.
UAB “Ergolain Baldai” plans to install a 299.71 kW solar power plant, which will allow the company to reduce its consumption of conventional energy. Implementation of the project will enable the company, through the efficient use of renewable energy technologies, not only to reduce the amount of greenhouse gases and particulates emitted into the air but also to cut costs, thereby increasing the competitiveness of UAB “Ergolain Baldai.”
Project objective – to increase the share of renewable energy production in final energy consumption.
Project activities – UAB “Ergolain Baldai” will install a solar power plant which will reduce the company’s consumption of conventional energy and aims for all generated renewable energy to reach 285.227 MWh per year.
Total project value: EUR 217,821.00, of which EUR 129,274.04 has been allocated from the European Regional Development Fund.
